Alchemy 2023 Chardonnay Hawke’s Bay
The Alchemy 2023 Chardonnay was created from selectively hand-picked fruit. It was whole bunch pressed to French oak barrels for fermentation and aging on lees for 9 months. Notes of white flesh nectarine delicately intertwine with the fragrance of honeysuckle, lively lemon zest and lime curd. Underlying flinty nuances interplay with the subtle complexity of sweet savoury oak spice. Juicy and concentrated, the palate is beautifully balanced, with creamy layers and a deliciously long finish.

Alchemy 2021 ‘The Elixir’ Hawke’s Bay
The Alchemy 2021 The Elixir was created from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, which was co-fermented, pressed and then aged in French oak barrels (20% of which were new). Inviting aromas of sweet-scented spice, dark plum and crushed forest fruits fill the bouquet, layered with brooding savoury notes of leather and dried herbs. Rich and concentrated berry fruit and spice fill the palate, supported by fine-grained oak that adds richness and complexity, balanced with juicy acidity, giving a long and flavoursome finish.
